Creating keeps me alive, rejuvenated, and joyful.

One reason I love writing is it’s a form of self-declaration and self-expression, an act that can bring joy and strength to both writer and reader.

But sometimes we forget to fuel our fires. Or we forget to draw on the resources in our toolbox. Our writing may suffer without the tools or time spent on forms of creative expression. Writing can become dry, tedious, boring.

When I struggle, I know it’s time to pick up the brush.
